Biography
I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Davis lab. My research interest is understanding the underlying mechanism of stem cell therapeutics on cardiac dysfunction treatment. Focusing on the extracellular vesicles, my primary goal is to identify potential targets of cardiac repair and immune modulation using a bioinformatics and systems biology approaches. Together, I am working on modifying miRNA expressions in stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles for increasing the therapeutic efficacy of patient-specific stem cells for the pediatric heart disease patients.
My second project aims to develop in vitro heart model by recapitulating heart beating and blood pumping. By using human iPSC-cardiomyocytes and bio-printed 3D construct.
