Biography

Hi! I am an undergraduate student majoring in Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech.  During my first year, I mainly worked with prosthetics, prototyping low-cost models on the Medical Robotics team, and measuring surface wear on internal total knee prosthetics at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute.  I was interested in applying my mechanical skills to tissue engineering, so I joined the Davis Lab in January 2022.  I now work with Olga Brazhkina on a project to create a cardiac patch from induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes for the treatment of heart attacks.
