JONG-HYEUK HAN, PH.D.

Biography

I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Davis lab. I graduated with a B.Sc. Magna Cum Laude, and a M.S.-Ph.D. combined course in Biomedical Engineering from Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), South Korea, in 2017 and 2023, respectively. My research focus is predictive regenerative medicine and tissue engineering by leverageing ML/AI and bioprinting organoids. I have developed several causal machine learning pipelines to explain how gene alters cells, finally tissue-level physiologies. Honors include the Global PhD fellowship, funded by the Korean Ministry of Education and 2025 AHA postdoctoral fellowship, funded by the American Heart Association.
