BME - Georgia Tech/Emory
I graduated from Howard University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. My research experience as a STARS participant at University of California, San Diego sparked my interest in biomaterials, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. At Davis lab, I am working on a collaborative project with the Christman lab at UCSD which involves looking at injectible extracellular matrix derived hydrogel incorporated with cardiac progenitor cells as a potential therapeutic for pediatric heart disease.
