Biography

I am an undergraduate student double majoring in Biology and Economics at Emory University. I first gained exposure to the field of cardiology my freshman year, starting research at the Children's Heart Research and Outcomes (HeRO) Center and volunteering in the Cardio-Oncology Department at Winship Cancer Institute. After gaining more interest in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, I joined the Davis Lab beginning January 2020. Since then, I’ve been working with Preety Shakya on a project involving encapsulation of pediatric c-kit+ cells in myocardial extracellular matrix hydrogels for enhanced cardiac functions.
